Palette daze 🍭 I’m working on some new abstracts on paper. I love looking at my palette’s for inspiration. So many paint layers. So buttery. —— photo @thefallenphoto
Last night’s live wedding painting! What a beautiful night!
I titled this one ‘Describing Love’. I got it framed for the show, because I wanted people to see what the abstracts on paper looked like framed. I was attached to this painting since the second I finished it. I got more attached to it after seeing it framed. I almost couldn’t put it up for sale because of the connection. But I did. People came up to me at the show saying how much they felt this piece, which I was so happy to hear. I ended up selling it, because as artists we are here to express whatever we feel the urge to, to inspire people. The client who bought this one felt it immediately when he saw it. He is surprising his wife with it, because of what he felt and also the title pretty much explains it ☺️. I took it home after the show and put it in my house for a couple days before delivery (made me more attached!) But it’s a reminder that art is about giving ourselves. We must practice non-attachment. It makes me happy, that this piece of art will make others happy and feel the love! —— Now that the show is over, I want to dive into more abstracts on paper. I want them to be about emotions. I will keep y’all posted on new work! Excited to keep this momentum going 💫

I have only shared a few images of paintings, as I want the show to have somewhat of a surprise/fresh feeling to it!
